What does an inspection cost?
Nothing. It is free whether or not there is work in it, and a fair number of them end with the answer that the roof is fine for now.
Where are you based?
Midlothian. From there we cover Ellis, Johnson, Dallas and Tarrant counties, which is Waxahachie and Red Oak through to Mansfield, Burleson, Cleburne and out to Fort Worth and Dallas.
Can a contractor waive my insurance deductible?
No. It is fraud, it is against the law in Texas, and both the contractor and the homeowner can be held liable. Anyone offering it is telling you what else they are willing to do.
Do I have to get three estimates for my claim?
No. In Texas you choose your own contractor and the carrier pays fair market price for the work. Your out-of-pocket is normally the deductible.
How long does a roof replacement take?
One day on most houses here, two on anything cut up with valleys, dormers or steep pitch. Weather moves it.
Is the workmanship warranty transferable if I sell?
Yes. Our seven-year workmanship warranty runs from the installation date and transfers to a new owner.
Do you handle the insurance claim for me?
We document the damage, meet the adjuster on the roof and write the estimate in the carrier’s format. Negotiating the policy itself is a public adjuster’s license, not a roofer’s.
My roof is leaking right now. What should I do?
Call rather than fill in the form. Move what you can, put a bucket under the drip, and if a ceiling is bulging put a small hole in the low point over the bucket so it drains rather than collapses.
